During the International Staff Week, international participants from 11 different countries and 16 different institutions, including Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, China, Czechia, Fiji, Jordan, Kosovo, Libya, Morocco and Spain, had the opportunity to introduce their countries and institutions. The event was held in English.
The first day of the event started with the opening speech of International Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Mahpeyker ÖZTÜRK. After the opening speech, ARDEK Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet EMİROĞLU shared important data about Sakarya University's place in international rankings with his presentation titled "Sakarya University's Place in the Rankings". Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Özer KÖSEOĞLU, in his speech titled "Sustainability at Sakarya University", included the practices carried out at Sakarya University within the scope of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals put forward by the United Nations (UN). After the opening speeches, the participants were informed about the sustainability studies of our University with a campus tour including ARDEK and laboratory visits.
