Sakarya University continues to enhance its global visibility in alignment with its internationalization vision in higher education. The University participated in the China Annual Conference & Expo for International Education (CACIE & CEE 2026), held under the brand "Study in Türkiye" and organized by the Turkish National Agency under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
At the event, which commenced on October 29 with a conference program in Beijing and continued on October 30–31 with bilateral meetings in the exhibition venue, Sakarya University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şule YILMAZ ÖZDEN (Coordinator of the International Office), Assistant Prof. Dr. Nurcan KOSTAK (Vice Coordinator), and Assistant Prof. Dr. Elif BOZYİĞİT (Vice Coordinator).
Strategic Partnerships and New Academic Opportunities
Recognized as one of the most prestigious global gatherings in higher education, the expo provided a platform for our International Office delegation to convene with representatives from universities across the globe. During these discussions, Sakarya University’s academic capacity, research infrastructure, and high-quality educational opportunities were presented to international counterparts.
The delegation established a strategic framework by outlining roadmaps for:
· New academic partnerships and bilateral cooperation agreements,
· Student and staff mobility programs,
· Joint research, development, and project initiatives.
The primary objective following these productive deliberations is to translate them into concrete activities and bilateral agreements in the near future.
