In line with the internationalization goals of Sakarya University, an information meeting regarding the preparation process for "Dual Degree Programs"—which will offer our students the opportunity to obtain diplomas from multiple higher education institutions—was held by the International Office.
The opening speech of the meeting, held at the Cultural and Congress Center Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Hall to address the preparation, legal framework, and execution stages of dual degree programs, was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şule Yılmaz Özden, Coordinator of the International Office.
Within the scope of the program, Dr. Nurbanu Bulgur introduced the Cotutelle program and provided detailed information regarding implementation processes, while Rümeysa Kiracı delivered a comprehensive presentation on the preparation stages and legal infrastructure of dual degree programs. Hosted as an esteemed invited speaker at the meeting, Lecturer Rıdvan Gündoğdu from the Turkish-German University shared valuable insights into practices at their institution and addressed inquiries from participants, making significant contributions to our preparation process with his expertise and knowledge.
Sakarya University aims to provide its students with international academic opportunities through dual degree programs and to further strengthen its institutional internationalization efforts.
